IDK this secret makes me side-eye you more than not wanting to romance Cortez (and your whining about poor me, I'm white). I didn't want to romance him, because I felt weird inserting myself into his grief and m!Shep's voice is not as good as fem!Shep.

They're not whining about "poor me, I'm white." They're whining about being considered racist simply because they don't want to romance a fictional black guy.

But, I dunno, maybe you think that's correct? Maybe you think that everyone should want to romance all black people because if you aren't attracted to/interested in a black person, then you're racist?

But...they aren't whining 'Poor me, I'm white'? They're complaining that people are calling them racist because they don't want to romance a fictional black character in a game. The white part only comes in b/c the sjws can, will, and do use the 'Your white, everything you say is invalid' argument in this situation - which is what the OP's 'But it doesn't matter because I'm white' bit comes in at.
