Re: fic pet peeves

- Cheating in a relationship, especially if there are no repercussions, and even more if the cheating is blamed on the character being cheated on.
-Third-party meddling in other characters' relationship problems, especially if the third party has only heard one side of things and takes it completely at face value.
- Grown adults acting like stereotypical teenagers.
- Seme/uke stereotyping, especially when it's imposed on characters who aren't like that in canon.
- Bottoming and sexual submissiveness being portrayed as weakness and as degrading in the narrative, in stories that aren't kinky.
- OTT jealousy and possessiveness being portrayed as romantic and cute.
- Passive-aggressive behavior being portrayed as something admirable. Ditto emotional manipulation being portrayed as cute and adorable.
