...where are people getting this idea that Steve's specifically a black man? He's Hispanic, I thought? I mean, I know there are black Hispanics (mainly Islanders) but his eyes are just way too blue. Either he's mixed, Brazilian, or wearing contact lenses

or it's the 24th century and science lets people do whatever the fuck they want, I unno

Any of the above or he could have Ocular albinism (http://www.albinism.org/publications/ocular.html), where only the eyes lack pigmentation. Or both his parents could have had a recessive gene for blue eyes that just happened to express in him.

LOL, I misread your comment at first and thought you said Ocular ableism (instead of albinism), and I thought, omg that's a thing now???
