Re: Is this the best shirt?

wouldnt bank the sizes thing to say anything, tons of women also buy the 2XL/3XL because big loose shirts are nice for sleepwear and ladies tees are shaped differently.

i wouldn't buy this one because it's hideous, but just sayin.

+1

Huge shirts make better nightgowns than actual nightgowns. Also, mens' shirts are more comfortable than ladies' shirts.

ladies tees are shaped differently

This. This this THIS. Jesus.

I hate pretty much EVERYTHING about the way women's shirts are designed; the cut, the fact that they're almost always made of thinner fabric, the fact that they're designed to be tight... Fuck all of that, I'm going over the damn men's section to get my shirts, thankyouverymuch.

The cut keeps people with breasts (most women) from bursting out of a shirt that doesn't tent hugely at the waist. If your shirts are too tight, there's no shame in buying them in a bigger size. No-one is going to check the label while you're wearing them.

That theory only holds true for bigger cups. At a smaller cup/shirt size, there's no reason for the tight, thin, stretchy fabric. Except for the shirt to go "BOOBS. I HAVE THEM."

And really, there's no reason for the shirts to be that fucking thin and insubstantial at any size. It's no wonder women clothes shop more than men - all their clothes get chewed up after three times through the washer!

I would agree except for I hate the necklines of shirts made for men. I can't stand to sleep with something close to my neck. Ladies tees are often cut a little lower and that's more comfy for me.

Yeah, honestly, I prefer ladies tees. I'm fat, but still have broader hips and a bigger chest than my waist, and wearing ladies tees actually makes me look like I have a figure. Unisex ones make me look like I'm wearing a tent, and it just looks completely unflattering.

*nods nods*

I'm a full-figured gal but I've been blessed with excellent proportions that just disappear without that kind of tailoring.
