So? I've seen homestuckcosplayhelp borrow ideas from other fandoms. I don't think anyone who posts their craft tutorials online for free would be mad that someone was inspired to do something differently with their idea.

I dunno, it sort of makes sense that as you grow more familiar with something and develop your own relationship with it, it becomes harder to appreciate stuff that ends up outside your schema. I don't think there's anything wrong with that in and of itself.

This might sound mean but I really mean this. I am truly sorry that you care too much about what people think of you. Cosplaying and the cosplaying and con community is my HOME and I feel so badly for anybody who enjoys fandom and doesn't have that. I have never felt more accepted and among people I truly enjoy than when I started cosplaying. So this secret makes me really sad.
