am I the only one who read this as them saying they used to idealize the crime-related career entertainment until they were a part of it, and now they have to watch harmless stuff because the other stuff is upsetting/wrong/what-have-you and they feel bad for the people who idealize it the way they used to? my brother loved shit like law and order until he became a cop and now he plays games like harvest moon because watching fake rapes and murders on his tv is painful. moeblob shit is his way of not taking his work and that baggage home
