To your first paragraph- SO glad I'm not alone. I have no idea why I find it hard to watch interviews involving actors I admire but I really do. It sucks 'cos I've missed out on a lot of great stuff. I'm really susceptible to cringe though.

I totally get the OP, too. Cosplaying and going to cons, etc, isn't my thing at all- but I don't judge people who go at all. In fact, I wish I could get over my weird hang-ups and just do stuff like that. I just like my fandom to have a fourth wall, I guess.

Yay! We're similar! For me I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the relationship between the interviewer and the actor but sometimes that part is fine and something else gets me but I don't know what. So weird!

I've cosplayed before. It was fun. Technically it was crossplay though. I haven't done it in a long time though. I hope someday you feel comfortable to do whatever you want to.
