I'm really glad you don't. I guess that's why you don't go around posing for tons of pictures like all the cosplayers pictured?

I really think posing for fun has nothing to do with doing something for attention or someone else's benefit. Playing dress up is something most of us have been doing since we were kids.

Not to mention there's quite a difference between "I'm not doing it for your benefit" and "I don't enjoy having fun with other people about something I have fun doing".

I cosplay for the fun of dressing up like my favorite characters, but if someone asks to take a picture of me, why would I say no? It's always nice when people recognize your costume or even just think it's nice enough to warrant a photo.
