Eh, I liked Jeyne better as a character, or, rather, the cynical and bitter part of me liked the machinations of her family, and I'll be forever disappointed that a boring romance replaced that. Unless, of course, Talisa turns out to be working for the same people that the Westerling's were working for, in which case I will approve.

But yeah, the only problem I have with Talisa is that she's a bit too much of a boring "good" person with no real flaws or agendas. But hey, maybe she'll end up being Ned Stark II, another reminder that being a good and honorable person gets you killed.

I never thought about what might happen to Talisa after all the ugliness is said and done, but I have a feeling it will be different than what Jeyne did. And I'm actually really excited to see which way this will go.

That's a good point. As much as I can get fundamentalist about sticking to the books, I do like being surprised, and a bit of uncertainty is actually fun.
