Other people above have said it better than I could, but really, it boils down to the fact that you have absolutely no idea why people don't like Talisa (either that or no idea what constitutes good writing, but we'll give you the benefit of the doubt).

I, for one, though, think the character will be completely salvaged in terms of believability so long as she turns out to have been a Lannister spy.
