Nope, never got that impression myself. Just that some people are trying to keep discussion alive and fresh. Though I admit those seem a bit forced to me and not all that interesting.

It does amuse me that I think we've now seen every variation of "Trope or work or episode where your relation to it can be compared to fandom's relation to it or to your relation to it in the past" - Work you love that fandom hates, episode that fandom loves that you hate, work you used to love but now hate, trope you used to love but now hate. Part of me wants to believe that someone actually has a checklist and they're working their way through every possible variation.

There's more than one anon who asks that stuff, actually. I'm one of them, although I think I've asked only ~5 topics.

I ask because I'm curious and enjoy seeing fannish opinions on f!s because I'm not very active in fandom many other places. I enjoy being an anon too much.

Haha I'm sure there are and I don't think it's anything bad!

The image of one person just methodically going through a checklish just amuses me, that's all.
