Guam Micronesian Kingfisher
- The Latin name of the Guam Micronesian Kingfisher is T. c. cinnamominus.
- The Guam Kingfisher is considered extinct in it's natural habitat, thanks to the introduction of the brown tree snake. However, there are still some in captivity, and a breeding program is currently in place, with hopes to reintroduce them into the wild.
- As of 2004, there were only 65 birds in the captive population

(Please note, due to the fact that there are three species of Micronesian kingfisher, the rarity of the Guam Micronesian Kingfisher, and the sexual dimorphism inherent in the Guam Micronesian Kingfishers, while I am sort of sure that all of these are Guam Micronesian Kingfishers, I am admittedly not 100% positive. I'm terribly sorry about that.)source
