Tried to swap shifts with a coworker because I pulled muscles in both knees, making it difficult to stand, and I'm coming down with strep. It was the only day I could get in to see my Dr due to the rest of my work schedule this week, and it would add hours to coworker's shift, which he's been whining to our manager for nonstop.

His response, via text? "Sry, don't feel like working today." After explaining the above to him.

He then came in an hour later to hang out in the store until we closed so he could play Magic. Avoided me the whole time.

And because this is a retail job in Amurrica and i don't want to screw over the coworkers i actually like, i have to suck it up. I hope he gets strep and chokes on a dick.
