I pretty much spent the entire day being annoyed by various things.

So what have you been annoyed by today, f!s? Here is your space to vent (no matter how trivial or over the top these things may be)!

How damn sweet my milkshake is! I know that milk, ice cream, and whipped cream are supposed to be sweet, but gosh darn I don't need the sick sugary sweetness in my mouth ten minutes later. For realies, that's not okay!

My inability to make even the simplest desserts well. :c

The escalators at a station I pass through are temporarily out of commision.

And instead of going down them the proper way (right side for slow, left for express) people just haphazardly amble down them with no care for their fellow passengers.

It is unbelievably rage inducing.

The program director for my academic program. He 'forgot' to arrange for us to have an exit interview. Now I can't rage about what an incompetent dick he is and how half my classes were stupid. No, instead I get to take an online survey.

I tell my boss I need something for work. She says, "ok, I'll get that to you." She proceeds to not only not get me the thing I need, but to not respond to followups for days... weeks... even months. Then she has the gall to ask me how I'm progressing in the project I needed the thing for. I'd have it done already if you'd only responded to my request three months ago!

I'm annoyed at not having my Ecological Methods exams to use as study guides for the final because the professor is a lazy slob who recycles the same questions year-in and year-out, so he takes back your exam after you've seen your grade.

My sis's internet has been out for a week. ATT finally comes. Gives her a time they will be there between 8am and 8pm. I have to walk over there (20 min walk). I get there, 5 mins later the guy says it is a problem at the main office (they forgot to switch over lines). 20 minute walk back. : [

People who think 1 a.m. is a conveniant time to call. It wouldn't even be that much of an issue if this weren't a person unable to limit their calls to something shorter than 3 hours.

While I am a night owl, one of the reasons I like nights is that they give me time to be on my own and not have to deal with people (yeah, I know)...

My boss has been texting me all day (while I was at home, not on the clock!) about some stupid business cards. That aren't even for her! And the person they're for doesn't want them! AUGH.

This thread is making me realize that I really haven't been annoyed today. Which seems so rare, and I am going to treasure the awareness. Thank you, f!s

Just made eggroll and fried rice for dinner and it turned out disappointing and bland. It wasn't bad or anything, but I'd been looking forward to it and it didn't live up to my expectations.

My headache, my constant hunger (trying to cut down on my food intake) and this damn weather. (HOW DOES 75 FEEL SO HOT? HOW?!)

People nagging me to proof-read their thesis faster and put it ahead of the one that was given to me earlier. And that after originally telling me they needed it by mid-May.

Okay, I may actually be annoyed by having to proof-read one thesis after the other while not really getting ahead much with my own. That, and I had hoped to spend the day I have off procrastinating by writing a chapter or two of fanfic.... Then I got so annoyed that I just did nothing useful at all.

Sorry, I'm rambling here. I'm also aware the other people are not the actual problem here. :(

So at my job, we get rated on our job performance. They're really awful about it, like for a few months, the ratings came in every two weeks. Then they just stopped keeping track entirely for a while and didn't give any feedback at all. Now suddenly they've started to give a shit again. But what really pisses me off is that a few months ago, they said I did an excellent job, and I was getting really high ratings. I haven't been doing anything different, but now they suddenly say that I didn't "meet their benchmark" and what I've been doing- FROM THE BEGINNING, EXACTLY AS THEY TOLD ME- isn't good enough.

Lots of things about this place have made me really angry, but I am so so done. I cannot get another job soon enough.

I am annoyed by my inability process stress in a healthy way. I was unaware until recently that I handled it poorly or that I even had a lot of stress.

Oh well, so it goes. No use beating myself up about it. Best to just move forward.

I'm stuck in West Memphis, which is a sinkhole of decay and despair that I wish I could avoid forever. Somehow I get stuck staying the night here every couple of months. Fucking West Memphis. Fucking Arkansas.

This conspiracy theorist guy who's over ten years older than me (He's like 32, I'm 19) keeps asking me out and saying he loves me even though I've blatantly told him no like a billion times.

Feminists who berate me for not being feminist enough because I don't coddle women who cheat or plan to cheat. I do think there is a double standard and that men get off easier than women concerning cheating, and that misogynistic slurs are uncalled for. But I'm not going to sit there and pretend like a woman knowingly going after someone taken or going behind their partner's back is ~empowering~. Fuck that.

I love her dearly but this pisses me off.

For some reason I was ranting to myself about the term 'male allies' earlier today. I feel it's just counterproductive, because being a feminist isn't an identity, it's an ideology, and there's no reason to separate people who share an ideology based on their gender. Like, yeah, when men try to speak over women about women's issues that's shitty and they're doing it wrong, but then again, being a female feminist isn't foolproof, and women make a lot of mistakes and misuse the term too. Why go out of our way to alienate people? Peace and fucking love, goddammit!

I told some 14 year-old to stop kicking my seat on the bus and he told me to go back to Korea.

I'm Chinese, but whatever.

I wish I was overreacting or just calling her names, but no: she really is stupid. She ask the most basic questions she should have seen during her first course at college; despite having been at this job for more than a year an a half now she keeps doing the same rookie mistakes she's made since day one; she seems incapable to keep her mouth shut for more than 30 seconds and talks and talks and talks about every.single.fucking.thing that crosses her mind (she also does this by e-mail) and it seems the harder she tries to sound intelligent, the stupider she sounds. (An example: somebody asked her to send her archives in 2003 Office format. She answered she'd need a 2003 computer then, because her computer was a 2007 model and she couln't use the 2003 Office format *facepalm*)

Is either that or being extremely vulgar: the last time we had a meeting she glanced a handsome boy half her age through the office window and started saying out loud how hot he was, how she'd like to bang him because her husband doesn't satisfy her and then proceeded to make gutural, sexual noises. My boss was present but that didn't stop her! Oh, and also, she's nosy and break rules and protocols, attempting to give a quality customer service, but in reality it's making our clients evaluate the rest of us badly because we won't break the rules like she does.

Seriously, it's come to a point where I -or most of the staff for that matter- cannot stand being with her for more than 5 min. and she hasn't even noticed! My superiors even has started calling her names and generally bullying her (which is bad and I don't approve it), but I don't know why they haven't attempt to support her and make her try to at least learn basic work etiquette, because she's making the rest of the staff crazy!
