I've seen many good shows that had no fandom or just a very obscure, small one that I ended up loving and recommending to my friends.
Sometimes certain shows or movies just don't get enough advertising.
Especially movies.
I used to miss out on many fantastic movies just because the general American audience wasn't informed enough about them.
Haven't you ever wondered why so many movies you haven't heard about ever ended up with extremely high RT scores, positive reviews and a shit ton of European movie prizes even though they tanked in the US? Lol.
