no subject
Like before, it was pleasant (or horrifying) background noise while I did my work. Now I actually just sit and watch it. And I went back to watch some old episodes (again, background noise) and found I didn't like them as much.
Part of it is Stabler. I was kind of really tired of him ages ago. He's angry and he has family issues and he's angry and he's angry and he's angry. Not saying he never had good episodes, but I don't find myself missing him. Especially not with Finn and his new partner being fantastic together, Munch getting to be in the show more often, and my absolute favorite, Sass-Bringer Supreme, ADA Barba.
Seriously. Watching an episode without him and his sass makes me kind of sad. I genuinely had trouble telling the other two ADA's apart (I mean, I liked them both, but their characters were so similar), and I have an allergic reaction to Harry Connick Jr (mostly just nausea). But Barba? He is wonderful.
