Why? Why that premise?

The two sets aren't mutually exclusive. You can have PoC, strong female characters, canon asexuals, AND pretty skinny white boys.

It's entirely possible for us to want all those things.

Me, I will probably never watch Huge. Why? Because I have a simple question I ask myself before starting a new series:

"Could this happen today, in real life?"

And if the answer is yes... well then I don't want that in my life. Reality has a tendancy to bite. I don't get away from that by watching more reality. And if you look at fandomsecrets, you can see that most of these shows are about shit that could never conceivably exist or happen in the near future or past--angels, demons, werewolves, aliens, space travel, time travel, pokemon, fuck.
