well okay no, i phrased it wrong. i didn't mean 'ALL GAY PEOPLE ARE OFFENDED BY YAOI ZOMG.' 'offensive' was probably the wrong word to use, sorry.

the word I took umbrage with was not 'offensive' but 'all'. not 'all' gay people are offended by yaoi. some yes, but not all.

i ... didn't even say 'all'? but anyway, i didn't even mean that yaoi was offensive to homosexuals; as i wrote it, i'm sure it came off as 'offended by' when i really meant 'offensive to'? which sort of sounds like the same thing BUT REALLY IT ISN'T I SWEAR. i meant 'yaoi objectifies gay people'. just like every other kind of pornography objectifies every other kind of person, etc. it's just that yaoi happens to have an incredibly large fanbase of people who turn it into some weird kink.
