All movies. That's because the fandoms usually start churning out different AUs in no time and ignore the canon (which is not that surprising, since after all, there's just one story in canon).

Sherlock. People warned me to stay away from the drama, so I ended up avoiding the fandom completely.

Most of Star Trek. I followed the DS9 fandom for a while, but the rest...eh. I just have no interest in shipping any of the pairings, and the canon (shows, comics, movies) is quite enough for me.

I enjoy AUs so fortunately that is not a problem for me. ;)

I am into Sherlock, but only the new Star Trek fandom.

+1 to Sherlock. For me, part of it was the crazy reputation, and part of it was the wanksplosion over Brit-pickers, both for and against. It's not a good enough show and I don't ship anything really, so I just avoided it. :)
