The only poly relationship I really buy in fic is Neal/El/Peter from White Collar. For some reason it works to me.

They all have chemistry, for one - and they all trust each other, to the point where El asking Neal to lie to Peter a) read as incredibly forced and weird, and b) lasted for like three episodes.

Add that to the general fandom atmosphere of, "Let's see A and B get together!", and the fact that most people don't want to break up Peter and El, and voila.

There's actually a really good almost-AU by Sam Storyteller called "Exquisite". It veers into D/s, but it also deals with a poly relationship, and a relationship between and FBI agent and his CI, really realistically. Plus sex, so what's not to like?

True, true, true.

I'm happy that people in fandom don't hate El with a fiery passion. Coming from some anti-female fandoms, the love for El is a breath of fresh air.

I've read some of Sam's stuff, but I don't think I have read Exquisite. So thanks :)

I'm pretty sure it isn't possible to hate El. Even if you're a Neil/Peter shipper. Heck, she practically ships them half the time.

She really does, haha ♥

I adore that aspect too. (Same anon who was bitching about Supernatural's female kill-off rate the other day.)

:) Hey again!
