You know how people say something is "spine-chilling" when they're just exaggerating about something creepy or scary? I literally felt cold down my spine when I read this. The ending is just... wrenching. It's delicious.

Big spoilers for the game, though. It's set after the low chaos ending.

-ow, I just thought of HP. Perhaps somebody knows something with Snape? I really like Snape&Dumbledore dynamics, or Snape&McGonagall, but those seem to be incredibly rare :/

Okay, so I was watching the Star Wars trilogy last night, and was reminded of how much I want to see one theme in particular - AUs where Anakin raises the twins.

Basically, family fics, whether they be AUs of the twins (one or both) discovered and raised by Vader where they may or may not be turned to the dark side, or AUs where Anakin never turned in the first place, or AUs where Anakin survives Return of the Jedi, although that's more family dynamics in general and not so much actually raising them, or... anything, really! (I'd just ask for no non-con or dub-con, PLEASE. Some of those Luke-or-Leia-turned-to-the-dark-side fics are horrific and WAY too dark for my tastes D8 And, er, no incest. Please no incest.)

Edit: I WOULD ALSO LOVE TO SEE STUFF EXPLORING LUKE AND LEIA'S RELATIONSHIP POST-JEDI. Sorry, just remembered that. They have a sibling now! Leia's just learned who her father is! ~~They just realised they've kissed their sibling oh god not enough mouthwash in the universe!~~ Anything on that would be good, too.

Well, it's not fic, but there's always Darth Vader and Son.

I've read that and it's the cutest thing in existence, holy shit. I didn't know there was a sequel with Leia, though!

Apparently it just came out a week or two ago.

On a side note, do you like The Clone Wars?

I'd say TCW's a bit rocky, but it makes up for the prequel's failings and makes Anakin a likeable character. Also Ahsoka is awesome.
I know there are other stuff out there so i'll keep an eye out for you.

Ten years after ROTS, tormenting nightmares of his unborn child drive Darth Vader to extraordinary measures with unexpectedly drastic consequences. Clearly, experience has taught Darth Vader nothing...

Vader has nightmares about his supposedly dead child. Vader has a new child made. Luke has dreams about this. Obi-wan learns about the dreams and takes Luke into hiding. This all ends about as well as you may expect.

Frodogenic's other fics are all really good too, although none of them really fit with your request. She has some about Vader interacting with his grandchildren and one where Padme survives and ends up taking care of Luke. Sibling Revelry is a hilarious fic about Luke and Leia, although they don't find out that they are siblings until the end.

The Force Bond series by KittandChips:

It has four main stories, and a whole bunch of side stories as well. It starts with Orphan. Luke gets orphaned and ends up on Corsucant, and eventually winds up in Vader's care. It starts when Luke is about 10 and covers the rest of his childhood.

Her Twins series (starting with "Anakin and the Twins") is also good, although I prefer the Force Bond series. Anakin never turns to the dark side, and instead resigns from the Jedi order. There are only three oneshots, but they are all pretty much Anakin's misadventures as a father of twins.

AU. When Lily died, Snape removed his heart and replaced it with a steel trap. But rescuing her daughter in the summer of '92 is the first step on a long road to discovering this is less true than he'd thought. A girl!Harry story, starting in Chamber of Secrets and continuing through Deathly Hallows.

If you can't stand Snape you won't like this story, but I like how the author humanizes his characterization while not excusing his behavior. Also everyone else is excellent and it has some of the prettier writing I have seen.

You don't really need to read the sequel, as "The Best Night Ever" isn't one of those "complete in name only - read the sequel to get closure" type of fics.

It's a sequel to a small oneshot, so read that first! Anyway, this fic is controversial because: a) it does terrible things to Katara's character, b) is way too pro-Fire Nation, c) martirizes and shills Zuko way too gleefully with the OCs, and d) it's one of those fics that grabs canon as a starting point, adds a few world-building "what ifs" and then the additions grow so out of control that it's like a new universe inspired on canon; but it's still some of the best written stuff in the fandom so it's worth checking out at least.
