"Solving" love triangles with poly fic is the worst decision ever. Seriously, that shit never pans out. :/

It makes nice id fic, however, especially if you're sick of what is basically the same love triangle over and over and over and over and over.

But it solves the love triangle for me.

I see characters the same way kids see their dolls. "I want these two to be to together but I want the same for these two so I'm just gonna squish them together! YAY!"

It might create more problems for the characters. That just means more fun for me.

When it's definitively a 'triangle' in canon - A and B both want C and hate each other because of it - aka not a triangle at all, but a > - then yes, I can see your point.

If all three people get along great - if A and B have interesting and unique aspects to their relationship, as do A/C and B/C, and there's overall affection, respect, and trust, that's another story.
