The Moonlighting curse wasn't really what everybody says it is. It was a combination of horrific writing (possibly resulted by writer staff changes), scheduling issues, cast's careers, basically a number of unfortunate issues.

In my head, there's an alternative reality where they Did It Right.

In the meanwhile, the first two seasons are perfection.
