Sounds familiar, i have no clue, yes, ask your doctor, trust me, they won't be horrified or anything else. It's always better to know.

Do you notice it more, say, right before you're period or right after sex (if you're having any) or anything like that?

But - yeah. Just ask. No reason to be freaked out or worried about what your doc will think.
