Agreed. I thought it was overrated and kind of dumb.

It freaked the everloving hell out of me, but stuff like that tends to take a while for the silliness to sink in with me. I now find it pretty laughable. DRR DRR DRR.

The last page honestly broke my willing suspension of disbelief, and I think it would be far creepier/uneasy if it ended a page earlier.

I mean the story is still ridiculous before that, but I guess the last page is really just the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

The last page has a massive sense of body-horror.

They've been progressing down those holes for months, becoming something no-longer human, and that is massively horrific to a /lot/ of people.
