Wouldn't that just be... Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I mean Twilight was pretty much a Buffy fanfic anyway.

Stephenie Meyer has openly said on several occasions that she didn't watch Buffy. I think she said she was into firefly though...don't start a false rumor about that though, I can't find the source. On the firefly thing anyway, her not having seen Buffy is definite.

I don't see any similarities between the two, except for vampires being present. They're nothing alike IMO.

The only similarity I can see is that a vampire guy fell in love with a human teenage girl. That's about as far as it goes.
