I want to (and did) say dump him because your wording makes him appear to be a jerk but please make sure he is actually being a jerk.

I say this having health issues, with meds that have caused weight gain (the family history doesn't help, either -_-), and needing to reassure most new partners that no, they are not going to break me.

I would not be surprised, though, if dude just happened to be a jerk.
