To be honest, I've never seen the show and know little about it, but if someone were to tell me a show centered around a succubus, I would expect it to be male fantasy and not be offended when it was.

For me, it started out more "female sexuality-empowered" than I expected it to be (meaning, there was more than zero) but ultimately it devolved into that tired old "Women with Unabashed Sex Drives are Bead Because Female Sexuality is a Dangerous Thing" blah blah blah ...

(Some of the minor characters/sidekicks were fun for a while.)
