I hope you can understand why people might not necessarily view "I like the suffering of strangers" as a really valid reason for why graphic violence is seen as more acceptable than graphic sexual content?

On a more abstract level, I hope you can recognize in principle why people might have a problem with the dichotomy between the two even if you don't share their feelings. I mean, I don't think the critique of that dichotomy usually comes from "I want to see lots of titties" or whatever; it's more about the negative consequences and the illogical nature of the phenomenon than anyone's personal feelings.
