I just always thought they were really cute and sweet and kid!me might have liked them even more than she liked Belle/Beast. Even now one my favorite parts is at the end and Babette just walks by, waves the duster under Lumiere's nose and he's about to go chasing after her until Cogsworth stops him.

I liked that too.

I liked Babette. She was the type of female character I was always weirdly drawn to as a kid. (See also: The blonde triplets from the same movie, Elvira, Jessica Rabbit)

I mean now, I could totally ot3 them with Cogsworth, but yeah I think I was pretty heavily invested in just the two of them when I was a kid.

(As if it's not obvious, it was and still is my favorite all time Disney movie.)

The Bimbettes! Same here. And as for Elvira, I may have tried to go as her for Halloween when I was 10... That didn't work out so well lol.
