I've reconsidered my opinions on this.

Just curious - what caused your change of heart? It happened pretty quickly, it seems.

Sometimes I change my mind about secrets the second I post them, but that wasn't really the case here. Like I said, it IS appropriate for the character and time period so I might have been judging too harshly. But also, I started reading the third book and I don't wanna spoil anything but it's just getting gayer and I love it.

Props for saying that.

I mean, you don't see OP's admit they changed their mind very often, and I personally think it's a truly cool thing to do (not changing your opinion - not necessarily - but changing it and then admitting it out loud). This doesn't have anything to do with the subject, I'm just impressed by your decisiveness, would be regardless of your point :)

Got through the rest of the books, did you?

partway through book 3 now (I misplaced it earlier tonight, and I'm super bummed about that, but I have it on my kindle too so I'm gonna finish it tonight hopefully.)
