I like both Ten and Eleven. If I had to choose one over the other it would be awfully difficult.

This is how I feel too. And also, even if a person likes one character more than another character, doesn't mean they don't still like the second character.

Totes. Some people have an 'all or nothing' or 'this or that' way of looking at fandom and that's not been my experience at all.

And I feel kinda bad because yeah, I'm super late to the fandom, but I'd choose Ten over Eleven (and Nine over Eleven, too, but I'm also a softy for RTD's entire run) and I don't know if that's a popular opinion or not. Regardless, I don't want to seem like I'm following a trend OR feel like I'm being looked down upon for thinking so. :( Let people love what they want, yeah? I like all three "new" Doctors. I even like Eight.

And back on topic, I LOVE Clara, but TBH I don't trust Moffat. I just... don't. I wish I did!

I don't think you can ever be too late into Doctor Who fandom though. There's so much content that I think it's perfectly understandable when people aren't familiar with all of it, and it's totally okay to jump on-board at any time. Me, I started at 10, and I'd like to go backwards at some point, but I'm in no rush.

And from what I've seen, nine definitely does have his own fanbase! But ten is just insanely popular all over the internet so I always feel like ten is the most popular of the new Doctors.

And no one should look down on you for having a different character preference. Frankly that's idiotic and immature.

IDK if I love Clara, but I certainly like her. Sometimes quite a lot. But I don't even begin to trust Moffat either so I'm not expecting this to always be the case.
