Why the hell do people like this show? The writing is shit, the art is hideous and lazily animated, and it's not fucking funny at all.

It makes stupid people feel clever.

Also the first season wasn't that bad. The jokes were still pointlessly cruel but at least they were kind of smart. It's the only place I've ever seen a joke about Benjamin Disraeli.

Because it lets them laugh at their lives, society, and culture while still letting them feel good about themselves.
