I know a lot of people don't like the 3rd book as they don't feel for Katniss, but I thought it portrayed someone with PTSD well. Katniss is a young girl thrown into war and has little control over her circumstance at the beginning. She's not perfect, but she's trying her best to survive and protect the ones she loves in a world that has been built against her.
