The love triangle is the worst. I would have loved the books better/more if it didn't exist... But then I wouldn't have Gale's angsty-cave-stare in the first movie to make fun of. :( or Peeta dubbing Katniss Simba or I forget

Anyway, I loved how JLaw portrayed Katniss' personality in the movie because that's how removed yet still connected/aware of what was going on I imagined her. I didn't see her as a bitch, but I did find some of her inner monologuing annoying. She wasn't devoid of personality altogether, but since it was in (not very well-written) first person I can see how some people could get that.
