I literally ALWAYS thought this was a prequel, and leading up to both of their deaths. I figured after Collin died, it would cut to a modern day setting with both of them alive, but having the problems they faced in their past incarnation still following them.

Like... we'd get to see them going through relatively the same process, and be able to scream and screen when they time came close for Banquo's death. Like, maybe this time it will be avoided.

I thought it'd be interesting to see a 'keep living it till you do it right' kind of comic... but yeah. Just what the fuck was going through the writer's head? I really REALLY want to know.
