Holy shit. There were reasons for all those things you mentioned. Effie treated her and Peeta like cute pets that lacked any real humanity while Cinna did everything he could to make a terrible situation a little bit easier for her. She and her father shared a clear bond and her mother left her, as a twelve year old, to care for her family including a young sister all on her own. Plus, her father died. It's normal to idolize people you've loved who have died.

Seriously, wow. I can't understand how anyone could hold such ridiculous opinions after actually having read the books.
