I still do not understand the hateboner everyone seems to have for this crossover-verse. I'm not into it, and I'm not in most of the fandoms, but... honestly, what's so obnoxious? Sure, it's annoying when large numbers of people in your fandom are into something you don't like, but that happens with ships, with characters, kinks and popular AUs... just ignore it.

I might not be particularly interested in this crossover, but I definitely understand the "try to put as many of my favorite things together as possible!" thing, and I enjoy coming up with crossovers, so all the hate and scorn makes me a little uncomfortable tbh.

and sometimes it seems like they want to crossover with stuff for the sake of crossing over?

kind like how some sherlock fans will hijack non-sherlock-related posts and be all "LOL WE FOILED THE HIPSTER BLOGS AGAIN WITH OUR FANDOM"
