Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, and all those stupid Professor Layton games. Goddamnit can't we have just one PL game with a completely happy ending?! Why does it all have to end in tears somehow? ;_;

Really? I have only ever seen GIFs of that game. I didn't know it was an emotional game. Then again, I played World of Goo and at the end almost cried.

I didn't know PL was like that ); I just got into the games and only finished the first so far. I wasn't expecting the ending to be like that, but I didn't think the others would also be sad, or at least not completely happy.

Yeah the second game wasn't so bad, because it was sad, and then it was happy, then it was still moderately happy, but everything else? Terrible. The third game just isn't happy at all. It's nothing but tears for the Professor. Like, that game almost traumatised me, I literally could not go anywhere the whole day after I finished it, I had to sit down and cry on my friend's shoulder and just ramble about what was so horrible about it. I still can't replay that game even the setting and the puzzles were my favourite, or at least, I can't play the last chapter.

I haven't played Miracle Mask yet, though! Hopefully, it won't hurt so much but why do I even hold out hope.

Eek! I bought them all at once and love playing them, so I really appreciate the warning about the endings. Maybe it will help lessen the impact for me *fingers crossed*
