I meant to say you shouldn't feel obligated to reply to every response when you ask a question but forgot...

But I always get tons of replies when I mention LOTR and crying so apparently that's nothing out of the ordinary.

The worst for me is Boromir. Gandalf actually doesn't bother me because when I first saw it, the entire time I was just trying to figure out what the hell he said. "Fly you fools? Folly you fools?"

Oh, Boromir's death was horrible. I understood Gandalf fine but wasn't too upset because I'd already read the books. (The reaction of the Fellowship was quite moving, but...idk, not enough for me to sob.)

But boy do I hate it when that happens. (Happened a lot in Avengers for me.) It's awful when you don't understand something in the cinema because of course you can't just rewind it. There are some benefits to watching at home.
