Like dethtoll I always answer the same thing *cough*LOTR*cough* so I'm not going to do that.

Spock's death in Wrath of Khan and basically the entire fucking ending of Metal Gear Solid 3. Even the credits. (Way to Fall is an appropriate song, okay?!) Also the microwave scene in Metal Gear Solid 4. Hell, at least once in every Metal Gear because I'm a sap and cry at everything and those games are ridiculously emotional and sad at times.

I meant to say you shouldn't feel obligated to reply to every response when you ask a question but forgot...

But I always get tons of replies when I mention LOTR and crying so apparently that's nothing out of the ordinary.

The worst for me is Boromir. Gandalf actually doesn't bother me because when I first saw it, the entire time I was just trying to figure out what the hell he said. "Fly you fools? Folly you fools?"

Oh, Boromir's death was horrible. I understood Gandalf fine but wasn't too upset because I'd already read the books. (The reaction of the Fellowship was quite moving, but...idk, not enough for me to sob.)

But boy do I hate it when that happens. (Happened a lot in Avengers for me.) It's awful when you don't understand something in the cinema because of course you can't just rewind it. There are some benefits to watching at home.

Also, I just watched the ending of Metal Gear Solid 3, and Snake (I am assuming that is Snake) is very handsome!

It's Snake's father Big Boss! (But he's a clone so yea, they look almost identical when younger.) And I agree with your assessment, heh.

When Pippin sings in LoTR I cry every time. Spock's death is brutal as well.

Pippin was so damn adorable in that scene. So what I'm saying is I cry while thinking about hugging him tenderly.

Spock's death made me mist up a bit, but the legit, actual-tears-rolling moment for me was the end of The Search for Spock, "You are my friend. Jim? Jim!"

That was a beautiful moment too! Their smiles kill me.

Plus Sarek and Jim's conversations about Spock. The whole, “If I hadn't the cost would have been my soul."

Gah, Star Trek movies.
