Dragon Age 2 has a character who writes "friend-fiction" about other characters in the game. Not a direct reference, but it brought a smile to my face, and I thought it was unusual for that kind of thing to be in a video game.

Also Psych has a lot of tongue-in-cheek jokes that clearly have the shippers in mind. (ex: Shawn refers to a team-up of himself and Lassiter as "Shassie" - the online name for the ship)

I've yet to play DA2 so I didn't know that one, thank you!

I've seen some of Psych but not too much, so I'll have to look into that. :)
