You are not the only one. I have a Tumblr but I only use it to follow other people, really. I miss when fandom lived on LJ and I knew all the rules.

AO3 makes more sense to me. I like it and I post my fics there. I love kudos because I have a touch of social anxiety and have trouble leaving comments on things. Other than that, what intimidates you?

I sit there debating "oh god is this dubcon or should I err on the side of caution and say 'noncon' but what if there is some other trigger and someone freaks out and dogpiles me for not warning for something that didn't even occur to me oh jesus christ" (maybe that's just me.)

Actually, AO3 has a "choose not to warn" function, so you don't have to warn for things if you're uncertain. I actually did that for a fic, and people still read it. :)

ummm I use AO3 exclusively to read and post porn LOL Most of my friends are the same, and I've never gotten any negative commentary about my smut not being introspective enough.

The tags thing HAS sometimes been a problem though, and it's almost always the noncon/dubcon thing (for me). I've never been dogpiled but I've accidentally offended some people and learned the hard way that it's better to be safe than sorry.
