Re: fandom anxiety??
(Anonymous) 2013-05-14 12:28 am (UTC)(link)Seriously, take a deep breath. Figure out what the big tags for your fandom/pairing are. Start with easy posts, like a single picture at a time. Tumblr automatically resizes the pics you upload to fit on a normal dash (clicking the picture brings up the fullsize version) so you don't have to worry too much about formatting your posts. Tag it appropriately with the fandom, characters, "Stella's Art" or whatever (so you can find it later on your art tag), etc. You probably also want to put a clear watermark on your pic because people can be dicks and repost without crediting you.
You'll probably get lots of likes and a few reblogs. People who reblog might include their comments in the body of the text post or in their own tags or both. It isn't considered rude to ignore reblog comments and not re-follow people who follow you.
It'll take you a little while to figure out all the ins and outs of tumblr, but ime its way more intuitive than LJ is for posting art, music, etc. because you don't have to manually code everything.
