Re: Depression

List some short-term but realistic goals for yourself, at least for now. Draw up a plan to stay on top of things so you don't spiral down even more. If things are really bad then you need to talk to a counsellor so they can guide and support you through this.

Good luck, anon. I know how you feel, because I was going through the same thing not so long ago.

Yes, this. Make the goals specific and attainable within a reasonable time frame. If you can't think of any, find a therapist/counselor that can help you make them.

If you have trouble making goals, list out your problems and then list them again in order of most importance/prioritize your problems. Think of what you can do to resolve those problems, what your needs are and then how you can attain them. If you can't tell your parents about your problems right now so they can't be your support system right now, think of who else can help you, even if it is just someone to cheer you on from the sidelines on every little step of your way.

Formulating a plan of action can help with motivation when you're depressed (also talking from experience). Write things on a calendar. Make a list and have the first thing to check off be "make a list". Every bit of effort you do to help yourself is appreciated. Think of things you do accomplish/positive actions instead of thinking of what you've fucked up. If there's really no one you can talk to, try a crisis hotline. Take deep breaths. :)

Wishing you well!
