No idea. It seemed like the mods lost interest or time for a long while (I had unverified fics sitting in the queue for over a year) so I guess they decided it wasn't worth keeping around/paying for anymore? There was never any sort of announcement, it was just there one day and gone the next.

I'm still kind of bummed about it tbh. I loved their layout and AO3 feels so clunky in comparison.
