Moriarty was the worst bit about BBC!Sherlock. His voice! Ugh! And until I checked out a few other things by Andrew Scott, I was pretty much convinced that he couldn't act at all. He can, but he managed to hide it pretty well in Sherlock (at least until TRF, where he was - for the most part - tolerably). I disliked his Moriarty so much, he is the worst I have ever come across.
