Good God, yes. I am tired of seeing people bash shows, movies and books only to have never seen, watched or read the very thing they are bashing.

Even worse is when you confront those people, they respond, "I don't need to see it to know it's stupid. It looks stupid." Or the oh, too common, "I don't need to see it to know it's a rip-off of (fill in the blank). That's what everyone says."

Ugh.

It's funny though that even people who agree with this will make an "exception" for Twilight.

DA. I waded through the entire first book of Twilight, even though it pained me - physically PAINED me - just so that I could say I'd read that piece of poo. And then I felt fully qualified to state it was a piece of poo.
