You're not alone. Esp. since SJW are usually on tumblr--very, very easy to avoid (at least in my experience). Here, the whining about them never seems to stop.

Back when this comm was on LJ there was a big stink about SJWs versus anti-SJWs that went on for months, but when the comm moved to DW, it was mostly just the anti-SJWs that came with it. I'm starting to get the impression that this makes it a kind of "safe space" for people to gripe about SJWs without risk of much opposition, so we get a secret like this every. Fucking. Week. If not every couple of days.

While I've found the SJWs easy to avoid too, the anti-SJWs are impossible to avoid if you want to read f!s, these days.

Yeah, I've been a lurker since the LJ days, and the hot topics then (Hetalia and K-Pop wank especially come to mind) would usually fade pretty fast.

With SJWs, though, everyone seems to jump at the chance to write their own personal rants that very rarely say anything new. Granted, their points are valid, but are already VERY well established and agreed upon. Every time SJWs are mentioned, the comments become an echo chamber.

It's cool to finally talk to a member, though! You and Visp are my faves.

Another thing that really grinds my gears is how little the SJW/anti-SJW spats have to do with fandom. Even if something fandom-related was the inciting incident, what it devolves into belongs on an entirely different forum.

It's cool to talk to you too, anon! You know, the, uh, legions of you. Keep on keeping on.

What makes it mildly (very mildly) amusing for me is that a number of anons were against moving to Dreamwidth because they saw it as some kind of SJW haven. Probably because of the [community profile] scans_daily vs. Gail Simone clusterfuck a while back.
