Ironic, considering that last episode with D&D was a total farce. You'd think ONE of the writers/actors/someone on the set would have said "Uh guys, do you actually KNOW how to play?"

Also I really don't see the problem OP, you can play Lizardfolk in D&D.
Maybe before you let anything "stop" you, check out your options properly?
